Ever since I can remember I always had a deep appreciation for artwork, when I was little I was inspired by some paintings and thought that I would for sure become an artist. I learned how to draw and began taking some painting classes. I studied art in school, I began to explore new avenues of expressing my love for artwork, taking commercial art, and typography, graphic art, and then I ended up with what I love doing most; namely photography. Specifically I like to focus on people, I love the many expressions of the face, I believe that humans are the pinnacle of creation, the creator invested himself into us by making us in His image. I love using light, and all of the new technological tools to create photographs. Photographing wedding in the Portland metro area for the past 5 years has been a thrill, I’m always honored when a bride chooses me to be a part of her big day, that’s why I’m always looking for ways to improve my skills and the overall experience.
